Welcome back to another episode of King of the Court!
This week, Tyler Loong and Jimmy Miller break down all the action from the PPA Chicago Cup, including shocking upsets, surprising partnerships, controversial on-court behavior, and some incredible performances.
We dive into the drama surrounding Genie Bouchard and Maria Ford after Bouchard refused to tap paddles following their heated match. Was her reaction justified, or did she cross the line?
We also discuss Ben Johns teaming up with Jack Sock, Roscoe Bellamy's impressive singles title, Emilien Burnel's Cinderella run, Anna Leigh Waters reaching 200 career gold medals, and the continued rise of Nico Acevedo.
Plus, we take a deeper look at The Picklr filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. What went wrong? What happens to investors? And is the pickleball industry finally starting to level out after years of explosive growth?
